Résumé

La confrontation de l’enfant à la violence conjugale génère potentiellement des dommages qui vont perdurer dans le temps. En soi, il s’agit bien d’un contexte de maltraitance, l’enfant étant à la fois témoin et victime. Les conséquences cliniques variées et multiples peuvent être présentes même lorsque le contexte violent a cessé. Elles s’expriment tant directement chez l’enfant dont on peut observer la transformation à travers divers symptômes qu’indirectement par le biais de modifications dans ses liens avec chacun de ses parents. L’article développe les problématiques de ces violences en mettant en évidence d’une part les multiples répercussions potentielles sur l’enfant, leur compréhension sur le plan psychopathologique et d’autre part quelques aspects d’aide et de soins qui s’avèrent pertinents. Aujourd’hui encore il s’avère capital de rappeler combien il y a lieu d’intervenir le plus tôt possible afin de réduire les portées traumatiques.

Abstract

The confrontation of the child in the marital violence generates potentially damage which are going to continue in time. It is well about a context of ill-treatment, the child witnessing at the same time and the victim. The varied and multiple clinical consequences can be present even when the violent context stopped. They express themselves so directly at the child’s whose transformation we can observe through diverse symptoms that indirectly by means of modifications in his links with each of his parents. The article develops the problems of this violence by highlighting on one hand the multiple potential repercussions on the child, their understanding on the psychopathological plan and on the other hand some aspects of therapeutic support which turn out relevant. Today still it turns out major to remind how much there is good reason intervening as soon as possible to reduce the traumatic impacts. Also let us underline that we are sometimes filled by a shape offascination, involved by interests and by fears, which bewilders in the point to prevent any action thought ideally of several.
