Résumé

Dans son introduction, Catherine Potel repart des origines de la psychomotricité qui, dès l’énoncé de son titre, met au centre de son objet d’étude toute la question de la complexité de l’humain. Elle insiste sur la première des mises en sens de ce « métier à tisser » - quasi artisanal » par la simplicité des médiations psychocorporelles proposées aux patients - celle d’une résistance au clivage corps psyché qui menace tous ceux qui souffrent, dans leur corps ou dans leur psyché. La globalité de l’être est l’ancrage même de la psychomotricité.

Abstract

In her introduction, Catherine Potel starts from the origins of psychomotricity which, from the statement of its title, puts at the center of its study object all the question of the complexity of human being. She insists on the first of the meanings of this “weaving loom “ - almost artisanal by the simplicity of the psycho-corporal mediations proposed to the patients - that of a resistance to the body-psyche cleavage which threatens all those who suffer, in their body or in their psyche. The globality of the being is the very anchor of psychomotricity.
