Résumé

Peut-on considérer la symptomatologie infantile moderne comme l’expression d’un « malaise dans la civilisation » qui participe à une mutation psychique profonde et irréversible qui s’enracinerait dans un bouleversement de la parentalité ? Ou bien la nosographie est-elle une arme redoutable qui travestit les pathologies afin de servir des intérêts divers, financiers ou idéologiques ? Nous proposons une réflexion théorico-clinique à partir de vignettes permettant de retrouver un fil d’Ariane qui mène de « l’objet du diagnostic » au sujet et à son mal-être. La question du lien social sera abordée en termes d’identifications, à commencer par la défaillance des auto-érotismes qui seraient remplacés par des procédés auto-calmants dans ces expressions pathologiques.

Abstract

Can one consider modern infantile symptomatology as the expression of a "discontent in the civilization" which takes part in a major and irreversible psychic mutation that would find his roots in an upheaval of the parentality? Or is the nosography a frightening weapon that disguises pathologies in order to be useful for various financial or ideological interests? Based on clinical vignettes, our propositions, both clinical and theoretical, emphasise the existence of a unifying theme that leads, from "the object of the diagnosis", to the subject and its discomfort. The question of the social bond will be tackled in terms of identifications, to start with the failure of the auto-erotisms which would be replaced by auto-calming processes in these pathological expressions.
