Résumé

Au travers de ma pratique de psychologue clinicien en mission locale, j’entends exposer un regard clinique à propos du sujet dans l’errance. Attendre un jeune qui souvent ne se présente pas au rendez-vous proposé, c’est rencontrer l’absence, une place inoccupée, désertée par un possible sujet errant. Or, l’institution convie ce sujet, en quête au travers de son errance, à l’insertion dans l’espace social. Dans quelle mesure est-ce possible pour le sujet errant dont l’intégrité même de son être est en question ? Car pour lui, c’est bien une insertion plus fondamentale qui n’est pas résolue et qu’il s’agit pour le professionnel de définir et d’entendre.

Abstract

From my psychological practice in a social integration center for the youth, I would like to share a clinical view on the wandering subject. Waiting for a young person who often does not come to the appointment results in the encounter of absence, of a vacant place deserted by a possible wanderer. But the social institution asks this subject – whose wandering expresses a search – for social integration. To which extent is this possible for a subject whose inner integrity is in question? The wanderer is concerned by a more fundamental integration which is not resolved and which the professional has to define and be sensitive to.
